We're looking for a hands-on Systems Engineer with expertise in test automation infrastructure, system validation, and production support for our OISL (Optical Inter-Satellite Link) manufacturing operations. This is a role for a highly collaborative individual who will work within our SOLIS (Software Operations for Link Integration & Systems) team to maintain and optimize production test systems across global manufacturing sites. We are looking for an engineer who combines strong technical expertise in systems integration with demonstrated ability to implement robust validation protocols, drive test strategies, and deliver continuous improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key job responsibilities u2022 Lead system-level validation and integration of OISL test automation infrastructure u2022 Drive requirements management and documentation for production test systems u2022 Develop and maintain test strategies and validation protocols u2022 Partner with hardware teams to define specifications and test limits u2022 Support production operations through troubleshooting and yield improvement initiatives u2022 Implement preventive maintenance plans and system health monitoring solutions u2022 Lead investigations for complex technical issues requiring cross-functional coordination u2022 Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance system reliability and performance u2022 Provide technical leadership in design for testability (DFT) improvements u2022 Support software release validation and regression testing in pre-production environments u2022 Develop and maintain documentation for production support and knowledge transfer u2022 Create and optimize test processes at contract manufacturers u2022 Analyze system performance data to identify areas for optimization u2022 Support on-call rotation for production escalations u2022 Collaborate with Engineering teams on test coverage and architecture evolution u2022 Travel to manufacturing sites as needed for technical support A day in the life You will tackle challenging technical problems in a dynamic manufacturing environment while working with multiple teams across different locations.
