Job DescriptionJOB DETAILS Base pay starts at $25.00 Per Hour Shift: Day Shift, Full Time DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Driver will be expected to transport, deliver, and/or unload windows and patio door products to customers in a safe and timely manner to our dealers, distribution centers, and/or construction job sites using a Box Truck. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service.Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with general public, understand highway traffic signs/signals, respond to inquiries and to make entries on reports/records per DOT Reg 391.11Complete all assigned delivery routes. Driver will deliver to local construction jobsites and is responsible for manually offloading productAddress customer questions, issues and concerns in a professional and timely fashionRepresent the company in a professional manner at all times in both actions and personal appearanceAdhere to Cascade policies and proceduresComplete all delivery and return documentation accurately and legiblyMaintain driver logs and inspectionsMaintain equipment in a neat, clean and organized conditionUphold all safety practices according to safety handbook and DOT regulationsLoad and unload trucks and assist others with loading and unloadingWill spend 50% time loading/unloading and 50% of the time drivingQualificationsValid CDL B driver's license with a clean driving record preferredMust be DOT compliant2 years of previous Box Truck driving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, read road signs, maintain logs, etc.Ability to follow instructions and take directions via on-board computer system and by phoneAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist with or without assistanceAbility to communicate well both verbally and writtenMust be able to work independentlyAbility to work effectively with people in a fast-paced environmentAdditional InformationSite Address: 10507 E Montgomery Dr Spokane Valley, WA 99206The US pay for this full-time position is $25.00 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO.
