Pharmacy Floor Technician - Tyler, TXWe are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Pharmacy Floor Technician to join our team in Tyler, TX. This full‑time position is 40 hours per week, consisting of five 8‑hour shifts, including weekdays and every other weekend.Work ScheduleShifts typically follow a 2‑week rotation (based on staffing needs):Opening Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Mon-Fri)Closing Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM (Mon-Fri)Every Other Weekend: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Sat & Sun)Overtime, holidays, and additional weekend coverage may be required.Rate: $20.00 per hourTerms: Temp (3-6 months) to HirePosition SummaryThe Pharmacy Floor Technician is responsible for picking, labeling, scanning, and preparing prescriptions for final pharmacist verification. This role supports daily pharmacy operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesFills daily drug orders accurately, efficiently, and on time under pharmacist supervisionProcesses returned medications and handles recycling/disposal per established proceduresPrepacks frequently used medications, labels, and stores them during low‑volume periodsManually packages materials and products as neededPulls/picks medications from shelving and storage areas (including prepack racks)Applies labels to blister cards and scans products for accuracyNotifies the pharmacist of any product that does not scan correctlyMaintains workstation areas and replenishes stock suppliesFollows all applicable regulations, including HIPAAAdheres to departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress codeMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work at a consistent, moderate paceAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishActive and clear Texas Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Texas State Board of PharmacyPreferred QualificationsPrevious pharmacy technician experienceCandidates looking to gain experience are urged to apply.
