Description :The Loan Operations Representative IV performs various administrative tasks involved in servicing Loans.Depth & Scope:Performs highly complex or non-routine administrative tasks exercising significant judgment and discretion in the performance of duties usually in support of a single unit or team within Loan OperationsTasks are performed independently with limited supervision and review; Tasks may include research, processing incoming mail, Customer service and contact, and external agency contact; Provides information and procedural knowledge for less experienced staffPerforms research on suspicious items and reports findings to appropriate resource to help prevent fraudulent activitiesMakes entries in general ledger related to paperwork and information processedApproves and reviews general ledger entries and/or invoices for accuracy and completenessProvides input and assistance to management in developing and maintaining budgetIdentifies, audits, investigates, and rectifies departmental discrepanciesReviews work and provides information and procedural knowledge to less experienced staffProvides the primary leadership of a unit or team within Loan Operations including input to performance management, coaching, and guidance to team membersResponds to the most complex inquiries and issues from Customers and internal units; Researches information to provide responses and resolutionContacts Customers to explain items affecting their accountsFollows up with branches and other units to resolve discrepancies and Customer issuesEducation & Experience: High school diploma or GED3+ years related experienceProven knowledge of Loan Operations policies and procedures as well as related agency regulationsProven computer literacy and proficiency in common PC applicationsProven attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload to meet unit objectivesProven ability to provide guidance to others, clarifying complex policies and procedures and facilitating knowledge-sharing in the work group is requiredExcellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal skillsMust possess strong analytical and administrative abilitiesPreferred Qualifications: Fidelity AM, Blue Zone, Loanserv/Sagent experienceGL accounting experienceResearch experiencePhysical Requirements:Never: 0%; Occasional: 1-33%; Frequent: 34-66%; Continuous: 67-100%Domestic Travel - OccasionalInternational Travel - NeverPerforming sedentary work - ContinuousPerforming multiple tasks - ContinuousOperating standard office equipment - ContinuousResponding quickly to sounds - OccasionalSitting - ContinuousStanding - OccasionalWalking - OccasionalMoving safely in confined spaces - OccasionalLifting/Carrying (under 25 lbs.) - OccasionalLifting/Carrying (over 25 lbs.) - NeverSquatting - OccasionalBending - OccasionalKneeling - NeverCrawling - NeverClimbing - NeverReaching overhead - NeverReaching forward - OccasionalPushing - NeverPulling - NeverTwisting - NeverConcentrating for long periods of time - ContinuousApplying common sense to deal with problems involving standardized situations - ContinuousReading, writing and comprehending instructions - ContinuousAdding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing - ContinuousThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
