They assist in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe and conducive to patient/family wellbeing including concepts of relationship-based care. Shifts Available: 6:45 pm u2013 7:15am Status Available: Full Time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period u2013 every two weeks) Weekend and holiday rotation required REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE + High school diploma or GED + Minimum of one year ofpreviousdirect care experience (acute or long term) or successful completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course. + Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program. What you will do: + Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success. + The ER Techassistspatientin completing ADLsincluding:Bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices and with feeding and menu selection. + An ER Tech will collect and send specimens including blood and blood cultures and inserts andremovesperipheral IV catheters. They are responsibleto recordpatient information and required data inappropriate areasin order tomeet documentation requirements. + Services include an award-winning 24-hour emergency department,inpatientand outpatient surgery, including joint replacement, a variety of diagnostic and outpatient services and over 300 physicians serving patients. + Trinity Health Livingston Hospitalu2019s Emergency Department (ED) is available24-hoursa day,365 daysa year to care for minor illnesses/injuries, as well as major life-threatening, traumatic,medicaland surgical problems.
