Description We are looking for an experienced Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Hoboken, New Jersey. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical assistance to faculty, staff, and end users, ensuring smooth computing operations and resolving issues with a focus on excellent customer service. This is a long-term contract position that requires a proactive problem solver with strong technical knowledge and outstanding communication skills. Responsibilities: u2022 Provide comprehensive Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to faculty, staff, and end users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues. u2022 Manage and prioritize support requests using Freshservice, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows and Mac environments, including remote access and connectivity challenges. u2022 Set up and maintain peripherals, assist with equipment disconnects/reconnects, and support device-related concerns. u2022 Configure and manage devices and endpoints using Microsoft Intune to ensure optimal performance. u2022 Escalate complex technical issues following established procedures to ensure swift resolution. u2022 Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of support activities and ticket updates. u2022 Deliver customer-focused assistance with attention to detail, efficiency, and reliability. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop support or a similar technical role. u2022 Proficiency in Active Directory and Microsoft Windows 10. u2022 Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network-related issues. u2022 Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environments and service desk ticketing systems. u2022 Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach. u2022 Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. u2022 Experience supporting both Windows and Mac systems is preferred. u2022 Knowledge of device management tools, such as Microsoft Intune, is a plus.
