Operations Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to drive and oversee various projects and initiatives within the operations department. This role will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure accurate reporting and effective communication to support decision-making processes. As part of a long-term contract position, the successful candidate will play an integral role in optimizing operations and delivering strategic results. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead technical reporting efforts and manage ad-hoc project needs within the operations department. u2022 Analyze operational data and metrics, synthesize findings, and prepare comprehensive reports or presentations. u2022 Partner with senior leaders to align reporting and analytical needs with business objectives. u2022 Maintain regular communication with internal teams to stay updated on organizational practices and performance indicators. u2022 Develop innovative analytical approaches to address complex issues and create new metrics where gaps exist. u2022 Build consultative relationships with teams to understand strategic goals and reporting requirements. u2022 Coordinate key operations projects and initiatives that hold strategic importance for the business unit. u2022 Mentor and provide guidance to team members to support the execution of the operations strategy. u2022 Facilitate data-driven decision-making processes by delivering accurate and insightful reports. u2022 Undertake additional responsibilities as required to meet organizational needs. Requirements u2022 Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships across departments and functions. u2022 Skilled in prioritizing metrics and managing multiple small to medium-sized projects simultaneously. u2022 Expertise in researching, analyzing, and presenting organizational metrics to inform business strategies. u2022 Proficiency in navigating matrix environments and fostering effective partnerships with team members at all levels. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. u2022 Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. u2022 Solid understanding of the banking industry, including products, services, and operational policies. u2022 Background in operations management, scorecard metrics, and capacity management within financial services.
