Entryu2011Level Help Desk Technician u2013 Job Description We are seeking an entryu2011level Help Desk Technician to provide frontline technical support to end users. This role is ideal for someone with 1+ years of help desk or IT support experience who is eager to grow their technical skills while delivering excellent customer service. A positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential, as this role involves frequent interaction with end users. Responsibilities + Provide firstu2011level technical support to end users, assisting with basic hardware, software, and access issues. + Troubleshoot common IT problems and resolve incidents or service requests in a timely manner. + Log, track, and document support requests using a ticketing system, ensuring accurate and complete information. + Communicate clearly with end users to understand technical issues and provide status updates. + Escalate more complex issues to IT staff or specialized teams as needed. + Support users onsite at local Vermont locations when required. + Follow documented processes and procedures while learning new systems and tools. Required Skills & Experience + 1+ years of experience in a Help Desk, Service Desk, or IT support role + Experience working with a ticketing system. + Basic troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn new technologies. + Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work well in a teamu2011oriented environment. Work Environment + this role is primarily remote, may require 1 day a month onsite but we've had individuals on the team remain remote depending on location Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, VT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
