Details: --> We have an outstanding Contract position for a Deposit Operations Associate to join a leading Company located in the Glen Allen, VA surrounding area.This position requires an intermediate to advanced understanding of deposit products and foundational deposit industry experience. The Deposit Operations Associate II supports our customers' deposit servicing needs and contributes to the development and improvement of all processes, as well as to the objectives of the team and business. The incumbent directly interacts with internal customers and prioritizes delivery of an excellent experience, using strong communication and diplomacy skills, while simultaneously managing a variety of standard deposit servicing activities.Responsibilities:Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and be a team playerResponds to inquiries relating to his or her particular area or to requests from customers and other Bank personnel within given time frames and within established policy and service level agreementsSupports other teammates within the team Understanding assigned processes and procedures as they relate to the job taskAdhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including compliance with the Bank's BSA/AML Policy and ProceduresEnsure excellent service is provided to our internal partners and customersIdentifies and resolves issues within the assigned functionPerforms all other job duties as assignedProvide a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality in handling and having access to sensitive informationTakes accountability for the entire process from receipt of work to resolution and closureProvide recommendations on areas of opportunitiesIntermediate understanding of deposit maintenance requests and the ability to apply language to system entriesPerform intermediate to advanced deposit maintenance (demand deposits, savings, and time deposits)Perform deposit maintenance quality assurance functionsComply with dual control standards as requiredEnsure daily production goals are met and maintain qualityParticipate in assigned projectsIdentify risk and escalate concerns through proper channelsDevelop and maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and other lines of businessAbility to learn and adapt to changing procedures and systemsProvide quality customer service by answering incoming calls regarding a wide range of questions and inquiriesEnsures all documents are received and accurate before archivingPerforms Quality Control review on imaged documentsUnderstanding of debits and creditsUnderstanding basic General Ledger EntriesAbility to utilize multiple systems for researchingProcess complex Exception Items (Positive Pay Exception Items, Stop Suspects, RIP, Unposted, adjustments)Participate in the production of year-end regulatory tax reporting and corrective reportingPerform ICS/CDARs boarding to core operating systems with accuracyUnderstanding and approving transactions for the Deposit Operations Associate IResearching more complex transactionsImaging of deposit and loan documentsManage all incoming and outgoing mailProcess legal documents (subpoenas, garnishments, liens, levies, dormancy, escheatment)Basic reconciliation of deposit accountsBasic Hiring Criteria:High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of deposit servicing experience or 3 years of operations or related experienceBanking, accounting, or finance experience requiredDesired Qualifications:Intermediate experience with MS Office SuiteHigh level of accuracy and great attention to detailExcellent customer service skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsDetail-oriented and quality-focusedFlexible, able to adapt to changeAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesAble to handle and prioritize multiple assignmentsExperience with deposit operations processes Job Requirements Minimum Security Clearance: No Clearance Details: --> Military connected talent encouraged to apply.VEVRAA Federal Contractor / Request Priority Protected Veteran Referrals / Equal Opportunity Employer / Veterans / Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit or Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:The California Fair Chance ActLos Angeles City Fair Chance OrdinanceLos Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for EmployersSan Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
