Job Description Summary: Provide system-wide real estate transactions expertise to assist in implementing and achieving corporate objectives, provide input and assistance in developing and implementing real estate strategies to satisfy the space, financial and operational needs of OhioHealth. Duties include but are not limited to the following: negotiating or assisting with real estate transactions, preparation of presentations for leadership, development of and maintaining standard real estate contracts and data. Owns and maintains real estate specific technology and data management tools as related to portfolio management. Manage critical clauses, termination/critical dates, and general lease requirements, ensure and monitor routine updates and provide leadership with regular reporting regarding capabilities of systems. Collects and compiles market data, forecast, budget and other analysis to support real estate transactions, asset management and decision-making efforts. Oversees vendor and project team members work to ensure compliance with contract and internal client expectations. Utilizes financial models to analyze alternate transactions, and their effect on OhioHealth operations. Provide systems, policies and procedures to support a consistent, well-documented, best-practices approach, to transactions negotiation and management, with input from affected departments. Responsibilities And Duties: 50%: Partner with Sr. Consultants of Real Estate to develop and implement real estate strategies to satisfy the space, financial and operational needs of OhioHealth; including:Negotiating real estate transactions Preparation of presentations for leadership seeking approval of real estate strategies Development of and maintaining standard real estate contracts, incorporating language which addresses changing internal, regulatory or industry requirements and/or trends 30%: Use internal/external business system platforms and tools to:Manage critical clauses, termination/critical dates, and general lease requirements Routine updates and presentations regarding capabilities of systems Compile market data, forecast, budget and other analysis to support real estate transactions, asset management and decision-making efforts Ensure databases are maintained and accurate at all times regarding with portfolio changes 10%: Oversee vendor and project team members work to ensure compliance with contract and internal client expectations. 10%: Utilize financial models to analyze alternate transactions, and their effect on OhioHealth operations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (Required) Additional Job Description: Bachelor's Degree Years of experience: 4 to 7 Degree with emphasis in real estate or finance or 4 to 7 Years of Experience in commercial or healthcare Real Estate. Thorough understanding of real estate transactions, and site selection; contract review and negotiation; assist in the review of other transactions related legal documents; financial analysis; budgeting, planning, and variance analysis. Minimum of five years of private sector, corporate real estate transactions experience, and minimum three years of management experience. This should include direct experience negotiating the purchase, sale and lease of real property; planning, budgeting and completing variance analysis; performing financial analysis; developing policies and procedures; coordinating, documenting, and controlling major projects; and developing business strategies.
