Description We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona, on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing HR-related inquiries, maintaining corporate records, and supporting various HR processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain accurate employee records through scanning, uploading, and auditing documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies. u2022 Respond promptly and professionally to employee requests and inquiries regarding HR matters. u2022 Process a high volume of transactions related to payroll, benefits enrollment, and unemployment claims. u2022 Resolve HR-related concerns using critical thinking and independent judgment to interpret policies and procedures. u2022 Assist in onboarding processes, including background checks and ensuring compliance with HR standards. u2022 Collaborate with external vendors to manage off-site storage needs for employee records. u2022 Support various HR projects and initiatives as directed by leadership. u2022 Utilize multiple systems to retrieve and analyze data for payroll and benefits calculations. u2022 Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address HR-related questions. Requirements u2022 High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in HR are a plus. u2022 Minimum of two years of customer service experience, with prior exposure to HR or related fields preferred. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. u2022 Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally. u2022 Ability to handle sensitive and confidential inquiries with discretion and patience. u2022 Demonstrated critical thinking skills and the ability to independently solve HR-related issues. u2022 Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR compliance standards. u2022 Competence in performing basic mathematical operations for payroll and benefits analysis.
