Maintenance Technician - Mechanic Apply now u00bb Date:Jan 23, 2026 Location: Rochester, NY, US, 14652 Company: Kodak Role Overview This Maintenance AEM (Automated Equipment Mechanic) position will work both independently and with other members of our maintenance and engineering teams to provide various types of support for equipment in our Battery Pilot and Manufacturing areas. Responsibilities: u2022 Provide multi-discipline capability to repair, maintain, install and make improvements to Mixing, coating, slitting and calendaring equipment equipment (includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics) u2022 Work with other members of the engineering and operations team to resolve equipment issues u2022 Perform alignment and adjustments as needed on production equipment u2022 Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on a wide variety of equipment u2022 Utilize hand tools as well as maintenance shop equipment to perform tasks as needed Required Skills/Experience: u2022 Highly involved and motivated with a high level of mechanical / electrical troubleshooting skills u2022 Ability to change focus based on priorities u2022 Mechanical equipment repair training and/or demonstrated experience u2022 Able to read and interpret mechanical/electrical machine drawings u2022 Controls / PLC experience a plus u2022 Bridgeport mill , metal lathe and light fabrication experience is a plus u2022 Significant walking or other means of mobility u2022 Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision u2022 Must have the ability to work individually and with a team as needed u2022 Good team player u2013 willing to be flexible and work with maintenance trades as needed u2022 Excellent safety record u2013 places safety and environment as top priority in all work u2022 Knowledge of Lock Out / Tag Out process u2022 Must be able to work in dark-room conditions if needed u2022 Able to work occasional overtime u2022 Able to work in a standing position for an extended period of time u2022 Wear personal protective equipment as required u2022 Good communication skills for daily interaction with maintenance and operations staff u2022 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and maintenance software tools. u2022 Must be able to work Monday-Friday either 5-8 hour or 4-10 hour day shifts.
