Job Description Can sit in MULTIPLE LOCATIONS: u2022 Blairsville, GA u2022 Greenville, SC u2022 Charlotte, NC u2022 Orlando, FL u2022 Huntsville, AL u2022 Nashville, TN As a senior member of the Platform Engineering Team, the Senior Platform Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of production support activities, as well as projects within the assigned concentration of expertise. Technology concentrations include Virtualization, Kubernetes, Active Directory and Storage. The Senior Platform Engineer designs and manages robust, secure, and scalable systems and enables continuous delivery practices by maintaining IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and orchestration frameworks. The Senior Platform Engineer will provide technical leadership and operational support to your peers within the Platform Engineering team, as well as Technology Services as a whole. Work will entail product evaluation, version and upgrade implementations, ongoing enhancements, and handling project tasks for system and network expansion, support, and monitoring. The Senior Platform Engineer will lead system design and performance evaluation efforts and will lead and direct projects within our team. As well as Enterprise Storage Systems and backup solutions u2022 Relevant certifications are highly desirable, e.g., Kubernetes Administrator, Terraform Associate, Microsoft Certified, AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications. u2022 Must have experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
