Drywall Project Manager

Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking for a qualified Commercial Drywall Project Manager to work in the Greenville, SC area. Responsibilities: Pre-Construction u2022 Work with Project Consultant and Estimator to assess the suitability of various sites for contracting work. u2022 Lead the scope review for projects: vet the project by reviewing construction plans, reviewing safety/risks of projects, collecting labor rates, determining materials, and determining job timeline. u2022 Contract review u2013 Understand expectations and understand the process of change orders, termination of contract, and contractual exclusions. u2022 Establishes and maintains schedule of multiple installation crews and projects. u2022 Communicate purchasing needs to Project Specialist and Warehouse and schedule deliveries with assistance of Project Specialist u2022 Negotiate with potential subcontractors to perform on projects u2013 Schedule and Pay Construction u2022 Manages General Contractor (GC) relationships, attends construction meetings, and coordinates with GC to maintain project schedule and ensures ongoing compliance with the construction contract. u2022 Manages all ongoing site visits to identify issues and ensure documentation of substrate condition, HVAC status, RH, PH, etc. u2022 Assist in the mobilization of jobs and the removal of materials on jobsites. u2022 Oversee field operations (manpower and installations) to guarantee the work is done per plans, project specifications and completion schedule. u2022 Manage installation methods and material usage to ensure jobs are installed per plans, specifications, and estimate sheets. u2022 Prepares and issues Installers work orders. u2022 Ensure the appropriate profitability of each project. u2022 Preform all required safety inspections u2022 Document and perform all change orders for your projects. u2022 Regularly meet with team members internally to update them on current status of project. Post-Construction u2022 Manages the completion of Punch-list and issuance of the warranty and maintenance files to the General Contractor u2022 Analyze design, construction, and cost trends on completed projects to identify potential areas of improvement and savings and ensure integration into future pre-construction processes Travel u2022 Travel to various project sites required. A monthly car allowance will be provided as a company benefit. As well as a company gas card. u2022 Potential overnight stays for projects may be required based on the travel distance and time spent on site Compensation: $70-85k + bonus structure Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Self-Starter. u2022 Strong time management and organization skills u2022 Strong relevant computer skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point u2022 Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
