Job Description Position Overview Asa Field Service Technician - 100%, you will be responsible forperforming and training on major component replacements and repairservices as needed across the Invenergy fleet. Assure all operations andmaintenance activities are performed in a safe manner consistent withestablished Invenergy policies and procedures. You should expect totravel away from home for 4-week intervals while returning home for aweek of time off. Responsibilities Collaboratively representInvenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in multiple equipmentplatforms Train site personnel in Operations activities including:Safety, Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Ops SupportSystem. Lead teams to perform major component replacements andrepairs on multiple equipment platforms and component manufacturers. Troubleshoot complicated electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions ofmultiple equipment platforms Perform equipment and site inspectionsand compile associated reports. Complete daily and monthly reportingrequirements. Write and revise procedures and documents on how toperform each component replacement. Assure all activities areperformed in a safe manner consistent with Invenergy policies andprocedures. Rotational position travel in 4 week intervals away fromhome while returning for a week off. Required Skills High SchoolDiploma or Equivalent Two (2) years technical experience and/ortechnical education related to renewable energy systems. Experiencein multiple platforms strongly preferred. Ability to effectively usesoftware systems to troubleshoot issues. Ability to work safely, withlimited supervision . Excellent verbal and written communicationskills. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products. Mustbe able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders withoutassistance. Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 lbs.). Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Work at heightsgreater than 80 meters (250 feet) Weight must not exceed 129 kg (265lbs.) excluding equipment/gear worn when performing job related tasks.Preferred Skills Strong interest and understanding of electrical andmechanical systems.
