Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a fullu2011time Diabetes Education Dietitian (Registered Dietitian) for an Outpatient Diabetes Education role with Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown or Bethlehem, PA . This position supports the LVHN Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic, working primarily with patients managing diabetes while also providing general Medical Nutrition Therapy as needed. The Dietitian will deliver individualized nutrition counseling, support diabetes selfu2011management education, and collaborate with a skilled team of Diabetes Educators to promote highu2011quality patient care. Previous experience in diabetes education or working with individuals with diabetes is preferred. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
