As a PeopleReady associate you'll benefit from: Connections and experience with some of the top companies in your area Great benefit package options Get matched to jobs quickly Competitive pay and steady schedule The ability to see your schedule and track your hours right from our easy-to-use app, JobStack Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour What you'll be doing as a Landlord Liaison : Compiles and maintains Rent Reasonableness system data for tracking and reporting processes Monitors customer satisfaction regarding landlords/owners Resolves landlord/owner questions, inquiries, issues, or complaints in person and/or via phone, email, fax or correspondence Updates owner, landlord, and/or property database and filing system Responsible for working and communicating with third-party companies to facilitate inspection of units Establish professional customer or vendor relationships Responsible for ensuring SPHA attains the highest rating of performance on SEMAP indicators relating to inspections Assists with the solicitation of prospective landlords and owners to participate in SPHA programs Assists with the scheduling of meetings; attends and participates in meetings, hearings, projects or events Obtain information from HQS vendor regarding failed inspections of units under contract; take required HQS enforcements actions, including lifting abatements Landlord Liaison - 10/13/23 2 Responsible for addressing any health, safety and tenant issues and following up, when necessary with owners/agents and tenants to ensure appropriate action is taken Responsible for communication and maintaining professional working relationships with the public, owners, property managers and tenants to ensure understanding of program compliance policies, investigating and resolving complaints to the landlords and tenant satisfaction File inspection reports and accompanying documents in designated physical and/or electronic locations Perform other related duties as assigned Available shifts: Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) Job requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady Knowledge of HUD, Federal, State and local laws and regulations, as well as SPHA policies and procedures related to the position Knowledge of general operations and procedures of SPHA properties, particularly in relation to the Housing Choice Vouchers Program Knowledge of the Local, State and Federal laws governing the Housing Choice Voucher Program including Housing Quality Standards, health and fire regulations, landlord/tenant regulations and evictions Skills in providing instructions on the HUD and SPHA Housing Choice Voucher Program requirements to potential participants and landlords, group of participants and landlords, and one-on-one Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, landlords/property owners, consultants, contractors, tenants, HUD, and local, state and federal officials; ability to communicate with people from a broad range of socioeconomic backgrounds Ability to understand, act on, and interpret policies, and to implement regulations and procedures as set forth by the SPHA and/or HUD Ability to prepare and present ideas in English, in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing Ability to perform program-required computations with speed and accuracy Ability to select new employees, evaluate performance of subordinates accurately and timely, correct deficiencies, and to guide and assign personnel Ability to orient other employees and to explain organizational policies, rules, regulations, and procedures Background check and drug test required Ready to take control of the way you work?
