The Nurse Manager also works with the Emergency Room Director on ensuring personnel development, management and retention of staff. General Responsibilities: Collaborates with the Emergency Room Director on implementing, monitoring and evaluating standards of care and practice.Directs, supervises and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff. Participates collaborates with the Emergency Room Director on implementing, monitoring and evaluating standards of care and practice.The Nurse Manager assists in ensuring assigned units are in compliance with regulatory standards and appropriateness of care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all timesCommunication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills requiredOther duties as assigned.
