Senior Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Lafayette, California. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of accounting records. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth execution of month-end processes and reconciliation tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Complete detailed account reconciliations and analyses, promptly resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely entry of all transactions. u2022 Maintain compliance with GAAP and understand key accounting standards such as ASC 606 and ASC 842. u2022 Support monthu2011end and yearu2011end close activities, including monthly reconciliation and analysis. u2022 Assist with annual audit preparation by creating schedules, addressing auditor requests, and coordinating with external audit teams. u2022 Identify and support improvements to balance sheet reconciliation processes. u2022 Participate in adu2011hoc projects and perform other assigned duties. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting required. u2022 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, public accounting experience a plus. u2022 Strong knowledge of GAAP and solid analytical, problemu2011solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
