GENERAL PURPOSE: The Inventory Data Analyst is responsible for supporting all inventory planning for the Store Operations Fixture Purchasing team across all Ross and dd's stores. These responsibilities include the development of fixture inventory forecasts across all Store Operations fixture projects and rollouts, ongoing communication of on hand inventory levels and recommendations for mitigating shortages and obsolescence. Analyst will make recommendations for saving costs and optimizing the fixture and fixture vendor portfolio. Analyst will also be responsible for creating all fixture commitments for all vendors, ensuring adequate lead time for executive review/approval, production, and shipping. Analyst will support ad hoc data requests to support the Fixture Purchasing and Store Operations team. The base salary range for this role is $70,310 - $97,450. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Inventory Planning and Management u2022 Forecast fixture inventory needs across all programs that require store fixtures, including new stores, existing stores, and brand maintenance and repair. u2022 Own development, calendaring, and execution of domestic and import inventory commitments that meet all project execution timelines. u2022 Maintain and routinely communicate on-hand inventory levels. Make recommendations to avoid shortages and mitigate liability from slow moving and/or obsolete inventory. u2022 Identify opportunities to save cost and simplify the portfolio by tracking and analyzing usage across programs. Maintain optimal allocation as directed by leadership. Process Management u2022 Own development and documentation of all fixture inventory processes. Routinely assess execution of fixture inventory, design feedback loops to identify process gaps and opportunities, develop and implement recommendations upon approval of supervisor. u2022 Maintain data integrity of all fixture items to ensure system has up to date pricing, specifications, lead time, and descriptions. u2022 Manage the accuracy of fixture list and descriptions entered in PeopleSoft. Consistently maintains data in PeopleSoft system by deleting old/obsolete fixture part numbers. Inventory Tools u2022 Lead the creation and maintenance of Inventory Management tools to optimize cost, freight, and availability. u2022 Manage inventory tracking encompassing all vendors; ensure that forward commitments are made in a timely manner. Fixture Purchasing u2022 Support the Fixture Purchasing team during peak periods by creating Purchase Orders. u2022 Maintain accurate master part list, update based on tests and changes to prototype, and communicate changes to business partners in a timely manner. u2022 Execute ad hoc fixture pricing, summary project pricing, and quarterly purchase obligations. Vendor Management u2022 Develop relationships with vendors to collaborate on forecasts and inventory needs. u2022 Lead calls with vendors to review inventory levels and forecasts. COMPETENCIES : u2022 Planning and Organizing u2022 Communication u2022 Problem Solving u2022 Drive for Results u2022 Business Acumen u2022 Collaboration and Teamwork u2022 Time Management u2022 Analysis and Judgment QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: u2022 3-5 years' directly related work experience required. u2022 Bachelor's degree required (preferably in an analytical field) u2022 A clear understanding of basic financial and statistical concepts. u2022 Excellent organization - able to meet multiple daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. u2022 Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Smartsheet, as well as ability to learn new business process software applications (PeopleSoft, Coupa) u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of management, vendors, and business partners. u2022 Must be able to build effective working relationships cross-functionally. u2022 Detail oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, and timely u2022 Outstanding work ethic. Motivated to achieve in a high paced environment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA: Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc. Consistent timeliness and regular attendance. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically. This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.
