EC Transfer Center Specialist

Facilitates communication between TMH physicians, the TMH Emergency Center, and transferring providers and facilities. Assists the Bed Management Team and the charge registered nurse (RN) in managing direct admits, transfers into the hospital, and emergency admissions.Reports:RN/Program Mgr Transfer Center (JC: 033203).Supervises:NoneRequired Education:High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.Required Experience: Six (6) months of healthcare, customer service, or medical terminology experience.Preferred Qualifications:Two (2) or more years of healthcare related experience in dispatching, transfer centers, admissions, emergency medical services (EMS), acute care,etc.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Paramedic, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or similar credential(s).Basic proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office.Required Certification/License/Registry:None.If you are interested in becoming a part of TMH’s legacy of quality & compassionate healthcare, we want to know you.Please submit your application & resume TODAY!
