May supervise office/field administrative staff, project/field engineers, assistant project/construction managers, project/construction managers and other assigned staff.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing the following services or for supervising the Project Management team members that perform these services:Primary contact and liaison for owner and principle partner entities for the contract, design, systems, procedures and related deliverablesDevelops project specific procedures and documentation, and consults with Owner on design and construction contracts and related A/E systems for the projectEnsures contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications comply with construction/project requirementsObtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entitiesRepresents owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetingsManages project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, systems and project closeoutLeads in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statusesCoordinates, directs, and monitors activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities Ensures project team adheres to safety requirementsManages bid phase services, as may be required by the clientPerforms other duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical degree7-9 years total project delivery (planning, construction) experience3-5 years as lead Program or Project Manager, as an Owner’s RepresentatieExperience with:Large-scale, multi-stakeholder projectsPublic sector, government projects in the Chicagoland areaLeading teamsWriting contract scopes, subcontracts, negotiating amendmentsProject accounting, budgets, and invoicingSchedulesVendor/contractor deliverablesPublic Contract Code procurement processesGovernment reporting and approvalsProject planning and schedulingBudgeting, cost tracking, and forecastingChange control and scope managementMS ProjectMS Excel (advanced level)AutoDesk or similar Project Management Information Systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills.BenefitsVanir offers a comprehensive, competitive benefits package that includes 401(k) Savings with employer matching contributions, medical, dental, vision, health savings account (HSA) with employer contributions, life, AD&D and disability benefits, flexible spending account (FSA), voluntary benefits, Teladoc, pet insurance, paid time off, national employee assistance program (EAP) and employee referral program.If you're interested in working for Vanir please visit our website to learn more and to apply online at Federal ContractorRequest Priority Protected Veteran ReferralsEOE Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/DisabledContact Email: medical limitations may, with reasonable accommodations, be capable of performing the duties of this position.
