Clinical Anesthesia Tech

Purpose & Scope:The Clinical Anesthesia Technician assists and provides for safe patient care by establishing set-up and turnover in the Main Operating Room (OR), Cardiovascular Operating Rooms (CVOR) and other Anesthesia environments.Assists and provides for safe patient care in the other procedural areas / anesthesia environments. Establishes set-up, turnover in Obstetrics ORs, Bronchoscopy, PACU, Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology, Radiology, Emergency Department, Endoscopy Department, ICU, CVICU and Cath lab.Education:High School diploma or equivalent is required.Completion of a clinical technician program is preferred.Experience:One year as an Anesthesia Technician or a one year of experience in healthcare/medical - nursing/patient care is preferred.Certification/Licensure:BLS certification required.Certified Anesthesia Technician is preferred.
