Production & Packaging Technicians report to the Production & Packaging MangerThis is a full-time, entry level position consisting of 40-50 hours per week. Typical work week is Monday - Friday, although weekend work may be an occasional requirement.Hourly compensation commensurate with experience, 401K and health benefits available, paid time offResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Assist in canning operation, including setup and breakdown of packaging lines, box building, pack off, walk in organizationLearn to operate canning line and associated equipmentCleaning, organizing, and maintenance of all packaging equipment, inventory, and raw materialsGeneral janitorial work, i.e., cleaning stainless parts, sweep and scrub floors, duty, etc.Shipping and receiving helpQualified candidates should:Have basic mechanical skills and the ability to operate machinery, including a forkliftMaintain organization, discipline, be detail oriented with the ability to multitaskPossess excellent time management and organizational skillsHave a willingness to assist with tasks outside key responsibilitiesHave the ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments, move and maneuver 100+lbs, stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, twist and crouch repeatedly while working in a loud, fast paced environment.Be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during a 10-hour shiftBe able to bend, twist and stoop repeatedly during a 10-hour shift
