Salary:$85,000 - $100,000 Per Year DOEFull-time Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm On-site: 1470 E. Middle Ave, San Martin, CA 95046We are looking for a skilled and empatheticadolescent mental health therapistthat wants to make a difference and be part of an amazing and growing team located inSan Martin, CA, just outside of San Jose.Join us at Embark at ourShort-term Residential Treatment Programin San Martin, where therapists offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families that include multi-modal family system approaches to amplify and solidify change.Serving teen girls and boys (gender fluid) ages 12 - 17, experiencing and struggling with school refusal, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal ideation and other mental health issues.Pre-teens and teens reside at our Residential Treatment Center in our comfortable family-style residence, where community and interpersonal relationships are fostered and encouraged.Facilitate Individual, Family, and Group Therapy: Conduct therapy sessions that integrate trauma-informed care and systemic approaches to create meaningful change in families.Personalized Caseloads: Manage a focused caseload of no more than 6 clients, providing high-quality, individualized care with a commitment to family programming and parent coaching.Treatment Planning:Develop, implement, and regularly collaborate with interdisciplinary team on individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence‑based practices.Crisis Intervention & De‑escalation:Utilize trauma‑informed de‑escalation strategies to support students in moments of heightened distress, promoting safety, emotional regulation, and restoration of therapeutic rapport.Develop discharge plansfor students, ensuring thorough review with both students and their family members.Maintain compliancewith treatment standards through meticulous & timely documentation of notes and adherence to MTP (Master Treatment Plan) standard requirements.Cultural Competency: Apply developmentally appropriate and culturally competent care, addressing the unique psychological needs of each client.Required:Current California Licensure as one of the following:Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)Or:Registered Associate with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as one of the following:Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW)Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)Actively accruing supervised clinical hours toward full licensureDesire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapyAbility to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.Ability to pass a state background check and drug testCandidates must be prepared to establish a CAQH profile and obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) as part of the onboarding process.Preferred:Two (2) years of working experience as a therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessionsOne year of experience working in a high acuity setting (intensive out-patient, residential, psychiatric hospital, eating disorder clinic, substance abuse clinic, etc., using relational, experiential, and systemic modalitiesFor associate therapists (prefer 1000 hours completed), but not requiredAccess to an established Mastery Program that offers professional and financial opportunities for professional growth.Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance- Multiple plan options including PPO and HDHPs with HSA eligibility and company contributions.Paid Parental Leave- Up to 6 weeks fully paid for exempt employees and 4 weeks for non-exempt.Life & Disability Coverage- Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability; voluntary life and optional short-term disability available.401(k) with Company Match- Retirement savings with matching contributions after eligibility period.PTO & Holidays- Competitive PTO accrual plans and paid holidays throughout the year.Employee Assistance Program (EAP)- Free, confidential support for life’s challenges.Embark is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.We are committed to enriching the therapeutic and healing experience we offer through the diversity of our employees and community.
