Next 150 Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent I. Superintendent I assists the project superintendent in coordinating trade contractors, maintaining high safety standards, and assisting with the quality control process.Coordinate trade contractors to stay on scheduleMaintain strict accordance with the contract documentsSupport all safety efforts in the field, lead safety orientationsStay informed of all field activitiesMonitor actual work to maintain compliance for the work planMaintain daily reports and documentationEnforce safety and quality control policiesAttend and participates in project meetingsEstablish credibility among Owners, trade contractors, unions etc. by maintaining a fair and trustworthy environmentEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management0-2 years experience in superintendent role on construction projectsOr equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESStrong technical and communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work in a team environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, PrologConstruction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of constructionExperience and proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost controlOSHA 30 hour certifiedSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.For Columbus, OH this ranges from $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.Next 150 Construction Services has an unwavering focus on safety, the environment and caring about everyone involved in our work.
