Facility Helper

Facility Helpers shall not possess nor use tools, except as reasonably necessary, to accomplish any of the above job duties. If other tools are required to perform any job, then a qualified technician shall use the tools to facilitate the Facility Helper to performing his work. A specific offer will vary based on the applicantu2019s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. u2022Responds in a professional, polite, and helpful manner when dealing with customers. u2022Completes preventive and reactive maintenance assignments requiring only very basic skills. u2022Performs basic tenant request duties as assigned by the supervisor. u00b7 Clearing drains by means of plunger and hand-held auger. u00b7 Changing light bulbs. u00b7 Changing HVAC filters. u2022Perform general labor, such as carrying, stacking, and sorting of materials used in and around the job site, as well as debris removal. u2022Clean up job site and equipment by means of vacuum, mop, broom, floor scrubber, waxer, steam cleaner, high-pressure spray cleaner, as well as other types of cleaning devices or equipment. u2022Minor patch and painting as required to maintain property esthetics. u2022Using employer-supplied vehicle, travel for parts and supplies. u2022Completes reactive and preventive maintenance paperwork thoroughly and accurately. u2022Assists in emergencies as needed. u2022Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition. u2022Informs supervisor of any condition observed to be unsafe. u2022Learns, understands, and complies with all ABM and customer policies. u2022Participates in training directed at increasing maintenance and job-related skills.
