Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Purchase, New York. This is a Contract to permanent position. The ideal candidate will bring mid-level expertise to handle financial operations efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Responsibilities: u2022 Review and process invoices with precision to ensure timely payments. u2022 Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Code invoices appropriately and enter data into the system. u2022 Manage weekly payment runs to ensure smooth financial operations. u2022 Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and clarify invoice details. u2022 Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting purposes. u2022 Adhere to company policies and procedures while handling accounts payable tasks. u2022 Maintain organized records for audits and compliance. u2022 Assist with additional administrative duties related to accounts payable when required. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role. u2022 Strong skills in invoice processing and coding. u2022 Proficiency in data entry with high attention to detail. u2022 Familiarity with account reconciliation processes. u2022 Competence in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks. u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. u2022 Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team. u2022 Experience with systems such as Concur, Lawson, or similar platforms is a plus.
