Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and practices. The ideal candidate will excel in handling general ledger processes, journal entries, and month-end closing tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and record accurate journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial data. u2022 Manage general ledger accounts and ensure proper reconciliation on a regular basis. u2022 Assist in the month-end closing process, including the preparation of financial statements. u2022 Conduct detailed analyses of financial data to support reporting and decision-making. u2022 Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. u2022 Review and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions. u2022 Contribute to the preparation of audit schedules and documentation. u2022 Support the implementation of improvements to accounting processes and systems. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date records for all financial activities. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounting roles, with a focus on journal entries and general ledger management. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. u2022 Effective communication and collaboration abilities. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Familiarity with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation.
