Quality Engineering Supervisor

Job Description We are seeking a Quality Supervisor with experience in manufacturing and quality assurance to lead hourly production teams and ensure operational excellence. This role is responsible for driving productivity, maintaining compliance with safety and company policies, and ensuring products meet strict quality standards. Responsibilities Include + Supervise and coordinate the work activities of hourly production employees to ensure quality and production goals are consistently met. + Establish and adjust manpower to meet production schedules and quality requirements. + Maintain accurate time and production records. + Administer disciplinary action as needed, in alignment with company policies and the collective bargaining agreement. + Coach, develop, and motivate hourly personnel to achieve performance and quality objectives. + Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications; assist in problem resolution and general maintenance of machinery as needed. + Provide daily defect feedback to production employees and management, ensuring transparency and timely corrective action. + Communicate shop floor problems and defects to appropriate personnel responsible for root cause analysis and corrective action. + Support the achievement of quality and management objectives by ensuring compliance with quality policies, procedures, and processes. + Initiate actions to prevent nonconformance related to product, processes, and quality systems. + Identify and document any issues related to the product, process, or quality system. + Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until deficiencies are corrected. + Develop and execute inspection and testing schedules for new launches. + Set up and oversee containment activities when required. + Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. + Interpret, communicate, and enforce company policies and safety regulations. + Ensure adherence to the collective bargaining agreement. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
