Together, we are creating an environment where nurses are owners in the clinical decision-making process, are well connected, have open communication with their colleagues, feel supported to develop professionally, and understand the future of nursing at MultiCare.ResponsibilitiesYou will define, develop, and monitor standards of patient care and nursing practicesYou will collect, trend and analyze data to identify best practices and performance improvementsYou will ensure availability and appropriate allocation of human and material resourcesSupport successful collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient care outcome and department strategic plansYou will coordinate towards the overall operations of assigned units and the provision of resourcesFacilitate optimal and cost-efficient patient care deliveryRequirementsBachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreementAdvanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferredCurrent Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)Current certification in specialty field preferredCase Manager certification highly desirableThree (3) years recent clinical experience in area of specialty preferredAbout Valley HospitalMultiCare Valley Hospital is a 123-bed, fully accredited acute-care hospital in Spokane Valley, featuring a Level III Trauma Center, comprehensive surgical, inpatient, outpatient and diagnostic services, and advanced cardiac care.
