Amentum is seeking a Food Services Director in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Food Services Director directs the daily activities in all dining facilities, manages the food service program and will supervise and evaluate food service personnel. The Director shall provide oversight of the food service operations and contribute to planning, scheduling, and quality inspections of the work performed for this effort. The Director shall demonstrate and apply highly developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. The Food Services Director will report directly to the divisional manager. Job Requirements: + Supervision of Food Service Staff across 5 different dining halls. + Assist in the hiring process for vacant food service positions as needed. + Facilitate training for new food service staff. + Evaluate staff. + Resolve personnel conflicts. + Maintain a positive workplace attitude and demeanor. + Collaborate with others in a positive manner. + Assign and oversee personnel plans for performance improvement as needed. + Assist in organizing food service schedules, work assignments, and responsibilities. + Assist in the planning of menus. + Maintain proper food storage requirements and documentation requirements. + Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations. + Assist in developing and implementing a schedule for maintaining the cleanliness of food storage areas, kitchen equipment and workspaces. + Follow regulations of applicable programs and complete required documentation requirements. + Remain current in certifications, licenses, etc., that pertain to job responsibilities. + Review customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service. + Follow all safety procedures and use proper safety equipment in the performance of all duties. Minimum Requirements: + 4-year college education or 10+ years of management in Food Service. + Valid Driveru2019s license. + US Citizen + Demonstrated interpersonal skills needed to relate positively to customers and coworkers. + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. + Proven experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry. + The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + The ability to stand for extended periods. + Safeserv certification. + Strong management skills. + Excellent organizational skills. + Effective communication skills. + Exceptional customer service skills. + Must have a government issued clearance at time of application. Compensation Details: $80,000-$95,000 The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
