Come build your career with us Job Summary and Qualifications The Practice Manager directs and supervises the day-to-day functions of assigned clinics in the market/division in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The Practice Manager is responsible for carrying out all established policies. DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: 1. Responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing and directing the day-to-day functions of the clinics and its programs and activities. 2. Implementation of written policies and procedures that govern the operations of the clinics. 3. Conducts performance evaluations for staff positions. 4. Interprets the practiceu2019s policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, government agencies, etc., as necessary. 5. Reviews the practiceu2019s policies and procedures periodically, at least annually, and makes recommendations to assure continued compliance with current regulations. 6. Consults with market manager, practice supervisors and staff concerning practice operations, problem solving and service improvement. 7. Makes written and oral reports and recommendations to leadership concerning the operations of the clinics. 8. Maintains an adequate liaison with patients. 9. Ensures that public information describing the services provided is accurate and fully descriptive. 10. Reviews and develops a plan of correction for deficiencies noted during survey inspections and provides a written copy of such plan to leadership. 11. Makes routine inspections of the practices to assure that established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed. 12. Maintains a good public relations program that serves the best interest of the practice and the community alike. 13. Maintains an excellent working relationship with the medical profession, providers, and other health related facilities and organizations. 14. Assists in setting the tone and atmosphere of the practice and creating a Healthy Work Environment. 15. Assumes the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the activities and programs of the market/division. 16. Responsible for development and maintenance of practice budget. 17. Recruits, interviews, selects, and hires practice personnel, supervisors and staff members. 18. Reviews and checks competence of work force and makes necessary adjustments/corrections as instructed by leadership. 19. Assures that an adequate number of appropriately trained professionals and personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the patients. 20. What qualifications you will need: REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bacheloru2019s Degree in health or business administration is preferred. Appropriate experience may be substituted for educational requirements. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum three to five years experience in a healthcare or clinic setting.
