Metal Finisher

Job Title: Metal Finisher Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Metal Finisher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking stainless steel parts after they have been welded and grinding the welds to achieve a smooth finish. Attention to detail is crucial as you will need to inspect for defects and imperfections. Once the welding is completed, you will buff the outside of the stainless steel to achieve a mirror-like finish. Responsibilities + Grind welds on stainless steel parts to a smooth finish. + Inspect welds for defects and imperfections. + Buff the outside of stainless steel to achieve a mirror finish. + Use a straight liner to edge the sheet metal. Essential Skills + 6 months of metal finishing/grinding experience. + Mechanical inclination, which could be from construction, lube tech, manufacturing, etc. + Desire to work in grinding/metal finishing. + Attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience using measuring equipment like micrometers and calipers (preferred but not required). Why Work Here? The position involves repetitive production work, standing for the entire shift, and using a grinder for most of the shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ramsey, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
