Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description Join our team as a Maintenance Technician in a dynamic environment where we manufacture seals for the automotive industry. You will primarily focus on reactionary maintenance, working with extrusion machines, ovens, press machines, and robotic cells to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities + Perform approximately 75% reactionary maintenance and 25% preventive maintenance. + Work on various equipment such as extrusion machines, ovens, press machines, and robotic cells. + Change valves, gauges, regulators, and other components as needed. + Be responsible for a specific section of the plant, mastering the machines within that zone. Essential Skills + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. + Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, bearings, gears, and motors. + Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment, including 480v and 3-phase systems. + Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot up to 480v. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in the extrusion process or background in the automotive industry. + PLC editing/programming experience. + Experience troubleshooting and programming robots. Work Environment You will work in a non-climate-controlled facility with a highly intense and accountable Tier 1 Automotive environment. Expect to work 50-55 hours per week, including occasional Saturdays on a rotating schedule. Shift hours are 2:30pm-10:50pm for the 2nd shift and 10:30pm-6:50am for the 3rd shift . Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Topeka, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.20 - $28.23/hr.
