Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. This long-term contract position involves providing essential litigation support for a class action case. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in civil litigation and demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate with other legal professionals. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct comprehensive document reviews to support ongoing litigation efforts. u2022 Prepare and draft pleadings, legal memorandums, and briefs with precision and clarity. u2022 Perform in-depth legal research to ensure thorough case preparation. u2022 Edit and refine legal documents, including motions and briefs, to maintain high-quality standards. u2022 Coordinate deposition schedules, manage calendars, and ensure all parties are properly prepared. u2022 Work closely with external law firms to maintain collaboration and consistency in case handling. u2022 Participate in weekly virtual meetings to provide case updates and discuss progress. u2022 Draft and submit motions, ensuring adherence to procedural and legal requirements. u2022 Monitor motion practice and deposition processes, supporting effective case management. Requirements u2022 Must be a licensed attorney with experience in civil litigation. u2022 Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents. u2022 Proficiency in conducting discovery and legal research. u2022 Familiarity with class action cases and related legal procedures. u2022 Strong understanding of deposition processes and motion practice. u2022 Excellent communication skills to collaborate with external legal teams and stakeholders. u2022 Detail-oriented approach to document review and case preparation. u2022 Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage time in a fast-paced legal environment.
