General Manager Location: Charleston Area We are hiring a results-driven General Manager to lead club operations and deliver an exceptional member experience. This role is responsible for driving revenue, developing high-performing teams, and maintaining operational excellence while ensuring members and prospects receive top-tier service and facilities. Position Summary The General Manager achieves financial targets by motivating, supervising, and coordinating staff while executing company initiatives and maintaining brand standards. This leader oversees all major departments, strengthens sales performance, and ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming club environment. Key Responsibilities + Drive revenue goals through leadership, coaching, and team accountability + Implement company programs and promotions to increase memberships and personal training sales + Ensure staff maintains strong knowledge of programs, facilities, and equipment + Generate ongoing new member leads and community engagement + Recruit, hire, and develop high-quality staff + Lead and support the Personal Training and Group Fitness departments + Integrate fitness offerings into sales presentations to maximize conversions + Resolve member concerns professionally and promptly + Maintain standards for cleanliness, safety, and equipment upkeep + Oversee inventory ordering and operational processes + Assist with payroll processing and budget management + Conduct regular department meetings to drive performance and collaboration + Perform additional duties as assigned Compensation & Benefits + Full-time salaried role with bonus eligibility + Total annual income: $55,000 to $75,000 + Health, dental, and vision insurance + Paid time off (role dependent) + Complimentary gym membership Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required + Bacheloru2019s degree preferred + 2+ years sales experience preferred + 2+ years management experience preferred + Personal training experience preferred + CPR/AED certification preferred + Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills + Solid sales and business acumen Job Requirements + Pass drug screening and background check + Use of timekeeping technology as required + On-site role; remote work not available If you are a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced fitness environment and enjoys building strong teams and strong results, we encourage you to apply.
