DescriptionThe Process Assistant is assigned to the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to the different Fulfillment Center areas. Key Job Elements: u2022 Support and work in the department as required u2022 Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers u2022 Providing vacation coverage for Area Managers u2022 Providing policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline) u2022 Tracking and reporting of ATS/labor hours u2022 Assisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance u2022 Ensuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance u2022 Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity u2022 Filling in as needed with production duties u2022 Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals u2022 Reviewing and updating SOP as required u2022 Assisting in keeping work area clean and organized u2022 Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area u2022 Coaching associates to work safely at all times u2022 Participating in safety initiatives u2022 Referring all job injuries immediately to area manager Basic Qualifications- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience - High school or equivalent - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays - Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as requiredPreferred Qualifications- Education beyond High School, and/or prior experience managing employees - Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of Amazon associates and management Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
