summary: Maintenance Engineering Intern Needed by Airport Area Position Title: Maintenance Engineering Intern Location:Airport Area Employment Type:Full timeShift:8:00am - 5:00pm About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineering Intern to support our engineering and maintenance teams with equipment reliability, process optimization, and technical troubleshooting. This internship is ideal for students pursuing an engineering degree who want hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Assist maintenance engineers with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of equipment failures. Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including data collection and analysis. Help create, update, and improve maintenance documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and equipment manuals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement and efficiency projects. Participate in equipment installations, testing, calibration, and repairs under supervision. Collect, analyze, and interpret machine performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Assist with spare parts tracking, inventory management, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) updates. Support safety initiatives and follow all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements. required-skills: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and interest in industrial systems. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals (preferred). Familiarity with maintenance tools, industrial equipment, or lab testing equipment (a plus). Basic knowledge of CMMS software or willingness to learn. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment as required.
