Litigation Paralegal

Description A highly regarded, multi-office law firm with a long-standing national presence is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in a busy general litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative legal team and work on sophisticated matters in federal and state courts. This role is 5x a week in office. Requirements Responsibilities u2022 Support attorneys across all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, trial, and arbitration u2022 Communicate with clients and third parties to gather documentation and information u2022 Conduct limited legal research using tools such as Lexis and PACER u2022 Assist with case strategy support, cite checking, and Shepardizing u2022 Prepare and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and administrative filings u2022 Organize case files, manage timelines, and track key litigation deadlines u2022 Analyze, review, and organize documents produced during discovery u2022 Coordinate document production and responses to discovery requests u2022 Assist with trial, arbitration, and deposition preparation, including trial exhibits u2022 Liaise with courts, opposing counsel, and litigation vendors u2022 Maintain calendars and deadline reminders u2022 Utilize litigation and document management software to support case teams Qualifications u2022 High school diploma or equivalent required u2022 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience u2022 Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) u2022 Experience with DocuSign and Adobe u2022 Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Preferred Experience u2022 Federal court experience u2022 Experience with electronic document management systems (e.g., iManage) u2022 Experience with billing/timekeeping systems (e.g., Aderant) u2022 Experience with CaseMap, Trial Director, or similar litigation support tools u2022 Notary preferred u2022 Experience in billable hour environments Offering u2022 Competitive compensation u2022 Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage u2022 Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance u2022 Retirement plan and savings options u2022 Generous paid time off and firm holidays u2022 Tuition assistance and professional development support Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
