If you have hands-on experience in heavy civil or utility projects and thrive in a safety-first environment, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities u2022 Build and install structural concrete formwork systems u2022 Place and secure reinforcing steel per engineering specifications u2022 Install PVC conduit for electrical and grounding systems u2022 Position and secure anchors and embedded hardware u2022 Assist with concrete pouring, leveling, and finishing u2022 Spot, align, and fasten equipment to anchor points u2022 Organize and handle equipment and materials for installation u2022 Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for formwork and installation tasks Qualifications u2022 Experience in concrete work and finishing u2022 General construction and carpentry skills u2022 Rebar installation experience u2022 Ability to use hand and power tools u2022 Substation construction experience Preferred Experience u2022 Prior work on substations or similar heavy civil projects u2022 Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications u2022 OSHA 10 Certification preferred u2022 Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Safety & Training u2022 Comprehensive safety training provided before site work begins u2022 All PPE supplied by the company Physical & Travel Requirements u2022 Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions u2022 Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks u2022 Travel may be required; per diem available if applicable Career Development u2022 Gain exposure to advanced substation technologies and progress toward foreman or supervisory roles u2022 Opportunities for long-term growth in heavy civil and energy infrastructure projects Work Environment u2022 Fully onsite in Carey, OH u2013 potential travel to next site Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
