We are looking for someone who wants to join well-established and highly regarded Vascular Surgery program with comprehensive, supportive and integrative services. u2022 The schedule is four 10-hour/days with rotating on-call. u2022 The practice currently consists of 5 physicians and 6 full time APPs, with embedded imaging within the department. u2022 Vascular surgery operating room experience preferred. This position is a hybrid position that consists of call, operating room support, hospital rounding, and clinic. REQUIRED: 2-3 years of Vascular Surgery or Cardiothoracic surgery first assist experience and ICU patient management. REQUIRED: Nurse Practitioners must hold RNFA certification and possess relevant experience in surgical first assist roles. REQUIRED: Family Nurse Practitioner candidates must have full prescriptive authority to be considered for this position. Requirements for Physician Assistants u2022 Master's degree in physician assistant studies u2022 Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado. u2022 Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) issued by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required for hire and must be maintained throughout employment u2022 Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice. u2022 Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid. u2022 Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from either the Health and Human Services/Office of Inspectors General (HHS/OIG) or the General Services Administration's (GSA) List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs. u2022 Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges. u2022 Prescriptive authority as appropriate, per medical staff service privileging process. u2022 Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Requirements for Nurse Practitioners u2022 Master's degree in nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program u2022 Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) is required for hire and must be maintained throughout employment. u2022 Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice or compact privileges under the multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement u2022 Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges u2022 Full prescriptive authority u2022 Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice. u2022 Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid. u2022 Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from either the Health and Human Services/Office of Inspectors General (HHS/OIG) or the General Services Administration's (GSA) List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs. u2022 Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Exceptional Benefits u2022 This position offers a competitive compensation package: u2022 The pay range for this full-time position is $145,512 - $190,766 annually. Pay is dependent upon relevant experience.
