Recruits and manages volunteers. Alsoleads in special event planning and engages community support forspecial events and the Red Kettle Campaign. Community EngagementLeadership Develop and lead a comprehensive community engagementstrategy that grows awareness and support for The Salvation Army'smission. Build and manage partnerships with corporations, civic groups,schools, faith communities, and service organizations. Serve as aprimary public representative of the organization at community meetings,fairs, speaking engagements, and partnership events. Coordinatecommunity-driven initiatives such as drives, campaigns, and grassrootscollaborations. Volunteer Program Management Manage the volunteerprogram: recruitment, training, placement, supervision, recognition, andretention. Design new volunteer roles and programs that support agencyoperations and program staff needs. Ensure volunteer policies, riskmanagement procedures, and compliance with The Salvation Army standards.Maintain the volunteer database and provide reporting on volunteerhours, engagement metrics, and program outcomes. Communications & BrandManagement Develop and execute a comprehensive communications andmarketing plan for the organization. Manage all digital contentplatforms including social media, website, newsletters, email campaigns,and digital ads. Develop and maintain brand-consistent messaging inalignment with national Salvation Army guidelines. Serve as the primarypoint of contact for media inquiries.
