Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs.u00a0 Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers. Responsibilities involve observing data on job orders, sorting and organizing job orders, RF scanning and other department specific tasks. We have production positions available in our Surface, AR (Anti-Reflective) and Finish Departments. Surface tech duties include: + Backside coating - making sure lens is clean, spraying, wiping lens and loading in machine + Blocking and Deblocking, block prep + Machine operation, taping, generating, polishing + Lens washing - removing lens from block, rinsing, washing and drying lens to remove debris AR tech duties include: + Sorting lenses, cleaningu00a0and inspecting for imperfections + Clean dirty rings in ultrasonic cleaner and rinsing + Sandblasting sectors and panels + Loading lenses into sectors and placing in machines + Removing sectors, download lenses back to matching trays, visually inspecting + Operating and cleaning AR coating machine Finish tech duties include: + Sorting trays, edging, beveling + Tinting - placing lens in holder and tinting to specified color + Mounting - inserting lenses into various frames, clean, visually inspect + Final inspection - check lens for defects, correct power, axis, prism and compliance with ANSI standards + Shipping - scanning, bagging, sorting and preparing customer orders for shipping u00a0 + No specific education required + No specific experience required for entry level but prior mass production, machine operation, or assemblyu00a0experience is preferred + Prior related or optical experience is desirable + Must be able to read and write English National Vision offers a competitive benefits package.u00a0 Some of the benefits include: + Generous Paid-Time-Off (PTO) policy + BONUS opportunities - including biweekly lab production bonus + 401k withu00a0company match + Health Insurance (one HSA option) + Dental Insurance + Flex Spending Account + Vision benefits + Life Insurance + Short and Long Term Disability Insurance + Referral bonus program + Wellness Plan incentives + Other insurance options, employee assistance and much more About National Vision Holdings, Inc.
