Job Description Summary Responsible for managing the procurement and planning of materials, ensuring that inventory levels meet production and operational needs by analyzing demand forecasts, negotiating with suppliers and coordinating with internal teams. Responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and supply continuity. Buyer/Planner + Run and analyzes raw material dashboard (MRP tool) and identifies actions to follow u2013 including but not limited to: placing new orders, pushing the delivery of existing orders, etc. + Manage Purchase Orders for site goods and services (creation, modification, cancelation). + Track open Purchase Orders and assesses/ communicates impact as applicable. + Manage site Incoming Inspection Priority List. + Manage site expired materials process (inventory replenishment/scrap). + Key contact for all material & supplier related issues. + Support purchasing activities for all site departments. + Lead escalation and communication of supply risks and disruptions to leadership. + Participate in production/quality related meetings and coordinates changes s to current/ active schedules. + Track materials cost and analyses/communicates PPV. Work with the commodity manager to lead supplier negotiations and achieve annual cost saving initiatives for direct spending. + Manage site Cycle Count process and coordinates execution with the different groups. Scheduler + From Master Supply signal create/ track & update site production schedule by: + Establishing, measuring, monitoring, and adjusting capacity levels + Ensuring appropriate Planning Parameters are maintained in planning tool/ system + Level-loading plan + Contribute to long term planning and forecasting activities and lead the implementation in raw material and production plans + Participates in continuous improvement activities that may include developing programs to improve supplier performance + Receive/ assess/ route & close Supplier Change Requests (SCRu2019s) + Receive & support all Account Payable requests. (site main point of contact) + JDE subject matter expert. + Coordinate with internal/ external groups all JDE Suppliers creation/ changes and assess/ implement accordingly. + Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles. + Comply with all local and global BD purchasing/ procurement policies, procedures, and practices as applicable. + Support all warehouse activities as needed. Advanced knowledge of: + Master Production Scheduling and planning techniques. + Advance Knowledge on Production Product Structure (Routers and BOM). + Capacity & Resources management. + Business and supply chain strategy. + Understand demand management and forecasting. + Strongly driven by process improvement and lean/six sigma methodologies. Minimum Requirement: + B.Sc. in Business, Engineering or equivalent experience in related field required. + 5-8 yearsu2019 experience in a medical device manufacturing company; specific experience in Materials Management of role preferred. + Supply chain, Sourcing, Lean Six Sigma, or other certifications are preferred. JDE proficiency or similar ERP experience required. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. + Able to work in a fast-paced, high urgency environment while maintaining quality standards. + Strong reporting and analytics capabilities required. + Experience in PowerBI development and analysis preferred. + Basic Qualifications: + u2022 Customer focus (internal and external).u2022 Planning and organizing.u2022 Conflict management.Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:u2022 Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP) and MRP (JDE, etc.)u2022 At least one professional certification such as Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Production & Inventory Management (CPIM), Project Management (PMP) and / or Lean/Six Sigma (Orange, Green or Black Belt) preferred.u2022 Problem solving and decision making.u2022 Interpersonal skills and effective communication.u2022 Teamwork and collaboration.u2022 Accountability and responsibility.
