Logistics Engineer - Level 2

Description: You will be the Logistics Engineer - Level 2 for the F-35 Aircraft Supply Operations team which is responsible for delivering reliable logistics support to the Fu201135 fleet. What You Will Be Doing As the Logistics Engineer - Level 2 you will be responsible for driving logistics engineering excellence across a highu2011tempo PBL/CLS environment, providing technical direction, and ensuring data integrity for provisioning and supportability analyses. Your responsibilities will include: + Lead the Quality Assurance team, delivering metrics, training, and guidance to loweru2011level personnel. + Perform provisioning analysesu2014including Parts Precedence (J0820) and QECu2014using GEIA, MILu2011STDu20111388, DEFu2011STAN00u201160, and related software tools. + Conduct supportability analyses for flight vehicles, associated equipment, and training devices, applying systemsu2011engineering and integration processes. + Manage provisioning data per GEIA/MILu2011STDu20111388u20112B, DEFu2011STAN00u201160, and LSAR database standards, ensuring accurate documentation. + Coordinate with Contractor Logistics Support and Performance Based Logistics programs to maintain compliance with DoD 5000 series acquisition requirements. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Demonstrated experience in logistics u2022 Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft and non-aircraft sustainment support u2022 Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Software including Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Access and Excel will be used daily. Desired Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. FEDLOG/FLIS Knowledge. Detail-oriented. Provisioning process knowledge or experience. LMI/LSAR data table population. Experience with GEIA Standards, MIL-STD-1388-1A/2B or DEF-STAN 00-60, MIL-HDBK-502, and MIL-PRF-49506. Aircraft, Support Equipment, Training Device, or Heavy Equipment maintenance experience. Maintenance Task Analysis. Candidate should have an understanding of US and Foreign Military applications of Integrated Logistics Support. This includes knowledge of concepts, requirements, and execution of Reliability Maintainability Analysis; Maintenance Task Analysis; Level or Repair Analysis; Provisioning Analysis and techniques; Spares Modeling; Training Analysis; Support Equipment Analysis; Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportability Analysis; Facilities Analysis; and Technical Publications Development and documentation. Specific understanding of the interrelationships and dependencies of these functional analysis activities is highly desired. Understanding or experience in support requirements definition, testing, evaluation, integration, and implementation of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) / Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) / internally developed Information Technology Tools and Software supporting Logistics Supportability Analysis activities is also desirable. Advanced to expert MS Office Suite skills with a strong focus on MS Access and Excel capabilities is also desired. The ideal candidate will understand engineering drawings and parts relationships. Knowledge of F-35 and F-22 provisioning process is a plus. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
