Civil Project Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Project Engineer Civil Infrastructure A small,close-knit consulting firm (approximately 2025 staff) is seeking amotivated Project Engineer who enjoys working in a collaborativeenvironment. This role is ideal for someone who wants broad exposure todiverse civil engineering projects and prefers the culture of a smallerorganization. This team regularly collaborates and shares ideas,creating an environment where you can learn from experienced staff whilealso taking ownership of your own design work. Project types vary widelyand may include municipal roadway improvements, utility design,stormwater management, and private development projects. Experience withmunicipal street, wastewater, or sanitary district work is especiallyvaluable. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the planning, design, andimplementation of civil and site development projects. Prepare technicaldocumentation, reports, and summaries for project teams and clients.Conduct field visits and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams toensure project objectives are met. Assist with regulatory compliance andpermitting processes. Communicate project updates effectively withmanagers, clients, and internal teams. Qualifications: Bachelor'sdegree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited).Experience in consulting, municipal, or land development projects.Knowledge of stormwater design, hydraulics, or hydrology is a plus. EITcertification or ability to obtain within 1 year; interest in PElicensure encouraged. Proficiency with design and modeling software(e.g., Civil 3D, HydroCAD, AutoCAD).
