AP Specialist

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high invoice volume. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Perform 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, receiving documentation) Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Respond to vendor inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner Maintain accurate and organized AP files and records Assist with month-end close, including accruals and reconciliations Support audit requests and provide documentation as needed Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls Requirements Qualifications 1u20133+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience High school diploma required; Associateu2019s or Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting preferred Knowledge of basic accounting principles Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail Experience with ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and time management skills Preferred Skills Experience working in a high-volume AP environment Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
