What We Offer This is a Nocturnal Position This person will be available to answer calls on inpatient concerns, will see new consults overnight and schedule procedures. They can be trained by following APP during the day at hospital. They will have a GI MD on call that they can contact for questions or emergencies. Novant Health Medical Group is looking for a conscientious, compassionate, and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our local, growing Gastroenterology practice of 9 physicians and 11 APPs in Wilmington, NC. This position would provide clinical care for our patients in both the ambulatory and acute settings. We are looking for a candidate who has interest in helping drive and manage the care for patients with complex gastrointestinal needs. The ideal candidate is patient-centric, flexible, adaptable, dependable, and respectful of all team members. Gastroenterology experience preferred. One year of APP experience preferred. Weekend and Holiday rotation required. No call required. RNFA certification required for NP's. The selected APP will be responsible for performing a variety of functions under the supervision of our physicians.
