ABOUT THE ROLE The packager is responsible for assisting in the operation of the production lines by setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting the packaging area. Starting Wage: $23.67 Shift Hours: 1st shift 5m-3:30pm WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH u2022 Must be able to pack products in one of three major classifications: Foam, Coatings Mills or Coatings Reactors u2022 Must be able to label products before and after packaging as needed u2022 Able to setup packaging area for one of three major classifications u2022 Must be able to fill containers to specified weight and expected quality standards u2022 Proper labeling of wash, left over bulk or non-conforming material u2022 Proper package preparation of material by using nitrogen to flush away contaminants in head space u2022 Prepares container closures by following proper procedures for crimping lids, torqueing bungs and tote caps, and utilizing seals and zip ties u2022 Proper maintenance and cleaning of all equipment, pumps, tank scraping as required WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR u2022 High School Diploma u2022 Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally u2022 Must be able to pass respirator fit test and medical evaluation u2022 Must be clean shaven to meet work requirements Additional Requirements: Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (
